Delete Your Account
If you would like to delete your Dual N-Back account and associated personal data, please follow the steps below. We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days.
How to Request Account Deletion
- Send an email to support@dualnback.com from the email address associated with your account.
- Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
- We will verify your identity and send you a confirmation once your account and data have been deleted. This process will be completed within 30 days of receiving your request.
Data That Will Be Deleted
Upon processing your deletion request, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Account credentials (email, hashed password)
- Username and display name
- Training session data and replay data
- User preferences and settings
- Login history
- Feedback submissions
- Crash and error data (Sentry)
Data That May Be Retained
- Billing and transaction records may be retained for up to 1 year after deletion to comply with tax obligations and to handle chargebacks or disputes.
- Third-party payment processors (Stripe, RevenueCat) retain transaction data per their own privacy policies and retention schedules.
- Anonymized and aggregated data that can no longer identify you may be retained indefinitely for research and analytics purposes.
Important Notes
- Cancel active subscriptions first. Please cancel any active subscriptions through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store before requesting account deletion to avoid continued billing.
- Deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered. You would need to create a new account to use the service again.
- Shared content. Content you previously shared (such as session replays) may have already been viewed by other users before deletion.
